Your privacy and how we handle your data are of the upmost importance to us, so we adhere to strict guidelines about how we gather and use your personal information.

How we get the information and why we do we have it

This information is mainly collected from customers directly when they call to make appointments and enables us to provide important information including but not limited to quotes invoices, dates of work completion, guarantees. The full terms and conditions can be found here.

We record CCTV on site for crime prevention purposes.

What we do with the information

The information we collect from customers is only used for our normal operating purposes. We do not sell data to any parties although it may be shared if required by legislation (e.g. Fensa or building regualtions), or if needed as part of our normal business operations.

We record and keep CCTV footage on a rolling basis for crime prevention purposes.

How we store your information

We store electronic data on a secure server. Paper contracts are kept in drawers or folders accessible to staff.

Contracts and data is kept for a minimum term of the guarantee of the contract and normally an additional 2 years, the full terms and conditions can be found here. Our software manufacturer is implementing an additional function to remove data over a certain age from our system and we dispose of paper contracts with a secure confidential shredding service.

CCTV footage is kept secure in a locked office. Only senior members of staff have access to the CCTV footage. The data is periodically overwritten and hence will not be retained for long periods of time.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
